Whaaat? An Affordable + Premium Smartphone?

HTC America has announced four new ‘premium’ Desire smartphones that it claims are “affordable.”

Since cheap, free and affordable are the leitmotifs of DirtCheapNYC, we’re intrigued by the new devices.

Now affordable means different things to different New Yorkers and is often determined by the size of your wallet.

Plus, to confound us further HTC did not disclose prices for the new devices.

HTC – 4 New Smartphones

Expect to see HTC Desire 626, HTC Desire 626s, HTC Desire 526 and HTC Desire 520 soon from the following prepaid and postpaid service providers – AT&T, Boost Mobile, Cricket, MetroPCS, Sprint Prepaid, T-Mobile, Tracfone, Verizon Wireless and Virgin Mobile USA.

Until we see the prices, we’ll reserve judgment on whether HTC’s new Desire smartphones are really affordable and not just claims.
